LYMAN AMMO CHECKERS™ SINGLE CALIBER (223 REM)

Lyman’s multi-caliber Ammo Checkers have proven to be extremely popular with reloaders since their introduction last year. Ammo Checkers are gauges that verify the quality and consistency of both reloaded and factory ammo. They are machined from solid aluminum and cut with custom tooling to SAAMI minimum chamber tolerances. Just drop your cartridge into the gauge and if it fits, it will chamber in your gun.

LEE CARBIDE FACTORY CRIMP DIE 9MM MAKAROV

R 650.00
Lee 9MM MAKAROV Carbide Factory Crimp Die sizes the cartridge while being crimped so every round will positively chamber freely with factory-like dependability. This die applies a taper crimp. The adjusting screw quickly and easily sets the desired amount of crimp. Trim Length is not critical so this extra operation takes less time than it would if cases were trimmed and chamfered. A firm crimp is essential for dependable and accurate ammunition, as it eliminates the problems of poor ignition of slow-burning magnum powders.

LEE FACTORY CRIMP DIE 223

R 370.00
Lee 223 Rem Factory Crimp Die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool. Works with 223 Remington and 223 Ackley Improved. Tests demonstrate that even bullets which have no crimp groove will shoot more accurately. A firm crimp improves accuracy because pressure must build to a higher level before the bullet begins to move. This higher start pressure insures a more uniform pressure curve and less velocity variation.
